Meet The Team

Renee Keogh

Ms Renee Keogh commenced working with Dr. Pamela Douglas as part of the Possums Programs in 2015 and is a founding Neuroprotective Developmental Care Accredited practitioner. Renee is a Registered Nurse (NICU) and Lactation Consultant. She offers support to families with little ones of any age who may be experiencing feeding concerns (breast or bottle), sleep issues and unsettled infant behavior. Renee’s calm and measured approach to problem-solving begins with an assessment, followed by a forward plan, and then extends to provide ongoing support.

Dr Rebecca Coote

Dr Rebecca Coote graduated from UQ School of Medicine in 2008 and completed her residency at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane. She has worked as a GP for over 10 years in Ipswich and is passionate about supporting families. As a Mum of 4 young children, Rebecca understands the joys, challenges, complexities and questions that many parents face, and is excited to be able to offer evidence-based support at the Possums clinic.

Dr Lauren Wilson

Dr Lauren Wilson completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Queensland in biomedical science and developmental biology, before moving to Griffith University to complete her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of surgery.  She completed her residency at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital and Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (now Queensland Children’s Hospital), spending extended time working in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics completing diplomas in both fields.

Dr Claire Morrow

Claire completed her medical studies at Griffith University in 2013, subsequently relocating to Brisbane. She completed her medical residency years at the Redcliffe and Prince Charles Hospitals before commencing her GP training in 2019. Claire has always enjoyed providing care to women ante- and post-natally, however it wasn’t until having her own child that she discovered a real passion for supporting parents through the many challenges that new parenthood holds. Claire is excited to be able to offer the sensible and flexible advice inherent in the Possums Programs to the wider community.

Dr Kathryn Franks (Katie)
Dr Katie received her medical degree from James Cook University, Townsville in 2013. Following graduation, she relocated to Brisbane to commence her internship at Mater Health Services. She then completed 3 years of hospital residency, gaining experience in obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics / neonatology, emergency medicine and internal medicine. Dr Katie commenced specialist GP training in 2018 and received her fellowship with RACGP in 2020.
Alanda Vincent
Alanda is a Registered Nurse and NDC practitioner who is passionate about supporting families and mother baby relationships. Alanda completed her Masters of Nursing at the University of Sydney, and went on to work in Emergency and General Practice. Following the birth of her daughter and experiencing personal success with the Possums programs, Alanda has dedicated herself to working with families to be able to enjoy the first years of their baby’s life and ease the transition to parenthood. Currently studying to be an IBCLC and working at the Possums clinic in Brisbane, alongside Dr Pam Douglas to run the group shared medical appointments to help families with sleep, breastfeeding, and other parenting challenges.

Lauren Wilson

MBBS BSc(Hons) FRACGP DRANZCOG DCH

General Practitioner

Lauren is a Brisbane based GP with a special interest in antenatal and infant care. She completed her medical degree at Griffith University before relocating to Brisbane and completing her residency between the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital and Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (now Queensland Children’s Hospital). Lauren then moved into General Practice, completing her general practice training in 2019. Since welcoming her own possum Lauren has developed a strong interest in care of mothers and newborns, particularly feeding issues. Lauren is an accredited NDC practitioner, member of the Academy of Breast Feeding Medicine and is working towards becoming an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Lauren has appointments available at Possums & Co in East Brisbane and also at Sunnybank Hills General Practice, where she consults in all areas of general practice.
